Enchancia Park

Starting my master planning journey, I explored the previous home of Myrtle Beach's Hard Rock Park, a 55-acre plot of land just off the beaches of Myrtle Beach, SC. Looking not only at logistics but also scalability and my personal interests and passions, I began to create my own fantastical kingdom. Starting off as a mythical creature park, Enchancia morphed to become its own entity.
Following the death of their king, Queen Gwendelynn was left alone to rule her kingdom. Slowly, as time began to pass along, she started to lose control of parts of the kingdom as the magical creatures that the King had kept at bay began to take over once again.

I wanted to focus on experiences in this land as oppose to ride heavy to ensure that there is something for everyone. Focusing in on this, I decided to flesh out a retail and boutique ares, Trellis Tresses, as a place for children to become one with the creatures around them. Walk into the abandoned greenhouse and let the fairies turn you into one of their own.
